SeaLand Completes 21,361 Mile Fuel Savings Long Haul Study
April, 2011 - we completed an over the road, long haul diesel truck study. The vehicle had over 440,000 miles on the engine and traveled fully loaded, coast to coast in the USA. Analysis was performed on the fuel savings with the use of the SeaLand's AFS-T for this study; 8.41% fuel savings was achieved. Analysis shows a 3 year Net Savings of $17,188* with a payback time of less than 1 year.
*based on a fuel price of $3.50 per gallon, annual miles of 158,400, 14 liter diesel engine

SeaLand Completes Emission Study in California - "...a clear reduction in NOx..."
California Environmental Solutions LLC, provided emission testing at Hawthorne Machinery on a 7.2 liter Caterpillar installed on a dynamometer to control rpm and torque settings. CES tested exhaust emissions with no hydrogen at various rpm and torque settings, collecting emission data at 13 setting points. This data was then compared to the engine running with SeaLand's AFS technology at the same settings with various amounts of HHO per minute being drawn into the engine via the air inlet.

"The results showed a clear reduction in NOx by the use of Hydrogen induced through the air inlet. The use of this technology appears to be very promising for the reduction of NOx produced by diesel engines." - President CES
